Strength, muscle and mobility
that actually lasts

I'm Jasper Macdermot, a personal trainer and strength coach based at UNTIL Liverpool Street. I help people build strength, muscle and mobility so they can look, feel and perform at their best — synergising the most effective principles across multiple disciplines so training stays effective, varied and engaging for years, not months. Across roughly 1,000 clients, from CEOs and senior executives to studios prepping actors, that approach has stayed the same: 1 honest plan, built around 1 person.

Most of the people I work best with are 40-something professionals who are successful in their careers but have trained on and off without getting the results they want — feeling a little stiff, a little weak, carrying some unwanted fat. The fix isn't another 6-week blitz. I ask for a minimum 12-week commitment, training 2 to 4 sessions a week, because that's how long it takes for strength, muscle and mobility to compound into something you actually keep. Most clients stay far longer than that first block.

My edge is the programming: tangible mobility outcomes, high-skill strength expression and muscle gain, combined and progressed deliberately — backed by Functional Range Conditioning and a Precision Nutrition Level 1 certification for the body-composition side. Add genuine rapport and accountability and you get the 1 thing that keeps people training for years. The goal is simple: you wake up in a body that feels good, get dressed without avoiding the mirror, and take pride in how you perform.

Your journey,
step by step

Assess

Every coaching relationship starts with an honest read of where you are today — training history, old niggles, mobility, strength, and the lifestyle around it all. Nothing is assumed. That picture is the foundation every programming decision is built on.

Programme

Your plan is built around your body, your week, and your goals — drawing on the most effective principles across strength, mobility, and muscle-building rather than one rigid method, with nutrition and lifestyle support woven in from the start.

Progress

Strength and muscle compound when load is earned, so progress follows demonstrated capacity. The programme is varied deliberately to stay engaging — and the relationship and accountability are what keep clients training for years, not months.

Common
questions

Where do you train clients?

I coach 1-2-1 at UNTIL Liverpool Street, a private members’ club at 280 Bishops Square, a couple of minutes from the station. Online clients train at their own gym, wherever they are, following a programme built for them with regular check-ins. So whether you are in the City or on the move, the coaching fits around you.

Who do you work best with?

Often busy, successful professionals — frequently in their 40s — who have trained on and off but never got the results they wanted, and are ready to bring their body in line with the rest of their life. That said, the starting point is wherever you are today; the programme is built around you, not the other way round.

What makes your coaching different?

The programming. I combine tangible mobility outcomes, high-skill strength, and muscle gain — drawing on the most effective principles across several disciplines — with nutrition and lifestyle support for body composition. That keeps training varied and effective for years, not months, and the rapport behind it is what keeps clients coming back.

How often should I train, and for how long?

Most 1-2-1 clients train two to four sessions a week. I ask for a minimum twelve-week commitment because significant changes in how you look, feel, and perform take time to build. After that it rolls on — and most clients stay well beyond the first block, because the results keep compounding.

Do I need to be fit before I start?

No, and most people aren’t. I regularly work with people who have trained on and off for years, or who are returning after a long gap. Your programme is built around your current capacity and lifestyle, not against some standard you are expected to already meet. We start where you are and build from there.

How much does it cost and how do I start?

Pricing is on enquiry, because the right structure depends on your goals, schedule, and whether you want 1-2-1 or online coaching. Email me at jaspermacdermot@gmail.com or use the contact section below with a little about what you’re after, and I’ll get back to you to talk it through.
